Memory Aid Project

Among the problems that older people face is the inevitable loss of memory that affects everyone to a greater or lesser extent. The Memory Aid project seeks to provide some help for this, through a body worn device that could help to compensate a failing memory. It could tell the wearers where they left those mislaid glasses or keys, or whether they have forgotten to take their pills. It could also summon assistance in time of need, and keep track of general health and well-being.

The technology behind this device involves highly complex imaging algorithms linked to a neural net engine. Developing this to the level of proof-of-concept is the substance of the Memory Aid project.

The Memory Aid project is funded by Innovate UK.
